Chrome Extension Privacy Policy
This Privacy Policy explains what data categories are handled by the CPTracker Chrome extension and why each category is needed for LeetCode solving-session tracking.
Last modified:
01. Extension purpose
The CPTracker Chrome extension has a single purpose: helping users track LeetCode solving sessions in their CPTracker account without switching tabs.
The extension supports features such as linking the current LeetCode problem, starting and stopping timers, saving notes, updating status, and syncing problem activity with CPTracker.
02. Personally identifiable information
The extension works with account-level profile data associated with your CPTracker account, such as user ID and username or email address when available.
This information is used only to identify your account and sync your problem tracking data to the correct CPTracker profile.
03. Authentication information
The extension uses your existing cptracker.org authenticated session state to authorize extension requests.
The extension popup does not collect passwords or PINs.
04. Web history
When you open the extension popup, the extension reads the active tab URL only to confirm whether the current page is a LeetCode problem page.
This check is used to connect your current LeetCode problem to your CPTracker account.
05. Website content
The extension processes the LeetCode problem link as website resource content so your timer, notes, and status updates are saved for the correct problem.
The extension does not use page content for advertising or unrelated tracking.
06. How extension data is used
We use extension data to power CPTracker extension features, including problem linking, timer actions, notes updates, status updates, and analytics sync with cptracker.org.
We do not sell user data.
We do not use user data for advertising.
07. Contact
If you have questions about this Chrome Extension Privacy Policy or want to request data deletion, contact CPTracker through the support contact made available on cptracker.org.
